And I am tired of reading foreign textbooks. I think it’s time that AUB uses Arab-written textbooks.

As a former AUB student, I feel that the best solution is for the AUB library to buy several copies of every textbook for students who cannot afford to buy them. That’s how I got through AUB – but the library sometimes did not have copies. And if I really liked the book and felt like I would want to read it again, I’d buy it.

I think this letter sparked a great debate. In Lebanon it seems that we pride ourselves on cheating the system. I am a mother who is very proud of her daughter. Keep up the good work Rima. Better education starts with people like you.
